Twitter is a powerful microblogging platform to keep ourselves update to latest releases of various softwares and applications. Sometimes you find that the user you want to follow has protected his or her tweets by configuring their account under settings so that only their friends see specific messages.
Despite this setting in place you can still view any private message that has been sent to his or her friend. To see the protected or private messages enter the following URL in your browser:
http://twitter.com/statuses/friends/USERNAME.xml
Replace USERNAME with the actual username of the Twitter user for which the tweets are protected. The XML file contains all the protected tweets.
