AweSync is a powerful calendar synchronization tool for Google and Lotus Notes. Right now the product synchronizes only the calendar entries. This notes & google calendar sync tool helps you to schedule automatic synchronization at defined intervals of time, or manual on-demand synchronization. AweSync provide two-way synchronization, or one-way with defined data source either Notes to Google, or Google to Notes. The utility also synchronizes multiple Google calendars with Lotus Notes calendar, with ability to track each synchronized Google calendar in Lotus Notes using event categories.

To start synchronizing Lotus Notes and Google calendar you need to define Lotus Notes mail file settings and Google credentials during utility startup. Follow the simple steps to sync lotus notes and google calendar.

Steps to Synchronize Lotus Notes and Google Calendars

Step #1 Download & Install AweSync for Google Calendar and Lotus Notes synchronization.

Step #2 Launch the application and navigate to the Settings window -> General options. Here you can:

  1. Enable the automatic synchronization and set up the timeframe in minutes.
  2. Enable “Minimize to tray on closing” to hide the application.
  3. Specify the Synchronization mode: “One-way” mode transfers data only in one direction (for example from Lotus Notes to Google). “Two-way” mode transfers data in both directions. Learn more about Synchronization modes check Synchronization modes and Conflict handling.

Step #3 Specify the Lotus Notes options. AweSync automatically detects your server, mail database file and Notes ID file. Just enter the password for the specified ID file.

Step #4 Specify the Google options: Click “OK” when you’re done. Here you just need to specify the Google account username and password and Google Custom calendar (In case your Google account has multiple calendars).

Step #5 In the main synchronization screen click “Sync now!”

Step #6 If all the settings are correct, the synchronization will start. After the synchronization process is completed, the events gets created in Lotus Notes calendar. Otherwise the system will notify you about the problem.
