The beauty of this is that No signup is required. It doesn’t even ask for your email.Drop.io doesn’t require you to sign up or create an account to upload the files. You need to just click to add files, name your “drop,” and enter a password if you want the files or videos to be password protected. One can even choose how long the files live on the Drop.io servers, and then set permissions for the people you share the files with (there’s even a Public option).
the “drop” is not so much a single file but a collaborative space, when you pass the URL around to other people (password protected or not), they can comment on the uploaded content, add notes, and add their own files.
