Remove Password from Excel files - Excel Add-in

Say your boss has asked you to analyze the previous month sales data stored in excel sheet and suddenly you find that none of the password is working for you. Well, the reason may be that you have forgotten it after a long holiday break. Well, there is a solution for every problem. There is free Excel add-in that removes/cracks sheet and workbook password protection in Excel.This Excel add-in (password.xla) works fine in Excel 5.0 and above (including Excel 2000, XP and 2003). It has an ability to remove passwords of any length, also passwords containing special characters.
- Download and run the add-in password.xla
- In Tools menu two option will be available- Unprotect workbook and Unprotect sheet. Use these Options to unprotect the excel sheet.
