Say, you forgot the password you had set long time ago for Outlook PST files. How will you recover the password of Outlook .PST (Personal Folders) file? PstPassword is a small password recovery tool for Outlook .PST (Personal Folders) file and works with Outlook 97, Outlook 2000, Outlook XP, Outlook 2003, and Outlook 2007. You only need the original PST file that you locked with a password and need not have Outlook installed on computer.
PstPassword provides 3 different passwords for each password-protected PST file. The passwords that the utility provides may be entirely different from the original password you might have entered. But all 3 passwords provided by PstPassword will open the PST file.
How to use PstPassword to unlock Outlook PST Files?
Step-01- Download and run the executable file, PstPassword.exe
Step-02- A window will appear that displays the list of all PST files of the current logged on user as shown in screenshot below.
Step-03- For each password-protected PST file, the utility provide 3 passwords that will open the locked PST file.
Step-04- If PST file does not appear in the list then press F7 and select the desired PST file. You may also drag the PST file from Explorer window into the main window of PstPassword.
