Prevent plugins from allowing popups in Firefox ?

No one really likes the pop-up ads while browsing.You must have done the setting to dissallow the irritating pop-ups in your firefox browser but still you get some pop-ups.Have you ever thought why popups appear even though you’ve blocked them? The reason is that the Flash plugin manage to bypass default settings and annoy you with those irritating popups.Perform the following steps to make your firefox browser 100% pop-up free.

1. Type about:config into the Firefox Address bar and hit ” Enter“.
2. Right-click on the page and select New > Integer.
3. Enter preference name as privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins
4. Set the value to 2.

The possible values can be:

* 0: Allow all popups from plugins.
* 1: Allow popups, but limit them to dom.popup_maximum.
* 2: Block popups from plugins.
* 3: Block popups from plugins, even on whitelisted sites.
