After placing an order online it is very annoying to call up customer care center to track the shipment details when your order does not reaches on time. Previously, we discussed about how to track your current shipments via Twitter. Packagetrackr.com is yet another free online shipment tracking service. It is one of the best sites to track shipments from almost all the popular carriers directly from your browser, your iGoogle homepage, your RSS reader, your Windows sidebar gadget, your Facebook profile, or your iPhone or iPod Touch. Just enter your package number and press the button ‘track it!’. The application will automatically track the carrier name.

The interface is very neat and clean and indeed user friendly. You can view the current status for your shipment in a google Map. Progress of the ordered package is coded in different color for easy identification. Important Codes are – I, P, T, O and D.
(I) -Information Received -Your package information has been send to the carrier
(P)-At Pickup – Your package is at pickup
(T)-At Carrier Facility – Your package arrived at the carrier facility
(O)-Out for Delivery – Your package is out for delivery
(D)-Delivered – Your package has been delivered
