Mozilla has released a beta version of its mobile Firefox for Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. Fennec beta1 is now available for the OS2008 (“Maemo”) software platforms that runs on the Nokia N810 Internet Tablets. N810 users can install Fennec from here. If you don’t have an N810 handset then you can still experiment with Fennec by installing a version of Fennec for your desktop PC. Windows | Mac OS X | Linux
The mobile browser Fennec uses the Gecko HTML rendering engine and has a touch interface for zooming and scanning

The Fennec browser is expected to be launched by the end of the year for Windows Mobile and Symbian smartphones. Android, BlackBerry, or the iPhone users will have to wait because of licensing or technical issues.
