If you are having small children at your home then ‘Beware’. Make sure your computer is out of their reach. Many times it is not possible to stand by your computer. Sometimes we allow our children to play games on it but we should make sure that are only playing games and not playing with the machine itself. Generally, children like to open and close the CD/DVD drive on the computer, and press the Reset button. This can lead to the malfunctioning of the drive. But how to lock the drive temporarily?
The CD/DVD Drive Locker which comes as a freeware helps to temporary turn the CD/DVD ROM drive off, and so pressing on the CD/DVD drive’s buttons doesn’t lead to the CD/DVD drive being ejected.
