How to flip and rotate a video or movie file for free

Have you taken a video clip by turning your camera on its side, well most of the times people mistakenly rotate the camera and shoot the video in portrait orientation and the resulting video file is the sideways or upside down as shown below (Left image). But you can easily flip and rotate the video file for free so that you need not to tilt your computer screen any more. Follow simple steps narrated below- 

 

  • Download Free Video Flip and Rotate here.
  • Navigate to Start > All Programs > DVDVideoSoft > Free Video Flip and Rotate or click the program icon on the desktop.
  • Select Input Video File from your computer
  • Select the Output Location where you would like to save the output video file.
  • Click one of the seven buttons of your own choice to flip or rotate video file.The options available are:rotate video 90 CW; rotate video 180; rotate video 90 CCW; flip video horizontal; flip video vertical; flip video vertical and rotate 90 CW; flip video vertical and rotate 90 CCW.
  • Click the Start button available at the bottom to process the video to the correct orientation.
