Subtitles are printed translation of the dialog in films and television programs, usually displayed at the bottom of the screen. Subtitles are helpful for viewers who are deaf and hard-of-hearing to follow the dialog.
If you want to watch a famous French movie or any other foreign language movie you can download the subtitles in English language first and follow the steps below-
1) Download a divx subtitle filter VOBSUB for windows media player. VOBSUB is a filter for Media Player that can load subtitles (ssa, sub, srt, vobsub) into movies being played. It works with ALL video players
2) Save a file and install it
3) Now download subtitle for the movie you want. subtitles can be found on following websites.
divxsubtitles , opensubtitles , mysubtitles , subbiee, divxstation , seriessub , tvsubtitles , subscene
4) After downloading the subtitles, You need to rename both the files (not the extensions) so they match each other else they won’t work. For example if movie file is abc.mov and subtitle file is xyz.srt then rename the sub-title file to abc.srt and put the srt file into the same folder where your movie file is there.
5) Now Run the movie. Subtitles should now be visible to you. Enjoy the Movie.
