| More

Google’s official mobile blog have recently announced Google Sync, a synchronization app for iPhone and Windows Mobile. Google Sync is a free tool that allows both iPhone and Windows Mobile device users to synchronize their Google Calendar and Google contacts with their mobile devices. Once you set up Sync on your phone, it will automatically begin synchronizing your address book and calendar.

With Google Sync you can make changes either on your phone or in your Google Account. Once you do the change on your phone it will be visible in your google account and vice versa. Thus, your calendar and contacts are always up-to-date. Do not worry, if you lost your phone recently. You can always load the contacts and calendar information on your new mobile instantly. The data is automatically backed up to your Google Account and is securely stored.

Google Sync is currently in its beta. To use Google Sync, users can visit m.google.com/sync from their iPhone or Windows Mobile handset to download the sync app from Google.
