Outlook users often forgot attachments while sending emails and only come to know when the email receiver replies back. There is no inbuilt functionality that checks your email before you send it to see if you’ve forgotten to “attach an attachment”. Forgotten Attachment Detector (FAD) is a plugin for Outlook that uses keywords such as “have attached” and “find attached” for detecting the attachments. Once detected, you are notified with a pop-up dialog.

Forgotten Attachment Detector (FAD) add-in allows you to add keywords for detection. To customize the keywords click the “FAD” button on the main Outlook toolbar. The dialog that opens allows you to add, edit, or delete the keywords which will trigger a notification from FAD.

Requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, Outlook 2007, .NET 3.5 SP1 and VSTO 3.0
