Extract or unzip RAR, ZIP, TAR, ISO, 7z and other Zipped or Compressed files Online

If you are at client place and later discover that your desktop computer does not have any file compression or decompression utility installed. What to do? Well, you do not need to install WinZip or WinRAR on computer. WobZIP is a free web-based online tool that allows you to uncompress your files online. Some of them even don’t know how to open the zip files and WobZIP works perfectly fine for those many people. Most of us are unable to install WinZip or WinRAR on admin-protected computers in school or at work. In such cases, if you are having internet connection, then you can easily unzip your files online using WobZIP.

You can use the WobZIP to uncompress password protected zipped files. The tool uses the 7-zip uncompression software to perform the decompression and Bitdefender or scanning Files for antivirus.

How to unzip and save files?

1. To unzip files from your computer, go to the main page and select your file (Max Size 100MB) by clicking the “Browse” button then press the button “wobzip!”.
2. To uncompress or unzip files from a URL, go to this page and type in your URL. Click on “wobzip it!” to upload and uncompress.
3. A list of files will appear, and you can save your files by clicking on the filename. You can also save your files as a ZIP file by clicking on the “Download files as .zip” button.

You need not to download the zipped or compressed file to the computer. For Example we generally receive zipped files on Gmail and other email clients. Copy the URL for the file and then replace FILE_URL_HERE with the URL of the zipped file. http://wobzip.org/?type=url&url=FILE_URL_HERE

If the file is password protected then replace PASSWORD_HERE with the password.
