Download redsn0w 0.7.2 to Unlock and Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0

Redsn0w 0.7.2 for Windows has been released by iPhone Dev Team to fix the ppc crashing issues and is available for download. We have seen three redsn0w releases in quick successions viz redsn0w 0.7 and redsn0w 0.7.1 and redsn0w 0.2. iPhone Dev team have already clarified on twitter that redsn0w 0.7.2 update is just for new jailbreakers. You need not to run it again if with redsn0w 0.7/0.7.1, you have already jailbroken your iPhone.

redsn0w is a software tool developed by iPhone Dev Team to jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 2G (original iPhone), the iPhone 3G (but not the 3GS) and also the iPod touch (first and second generation). redsn0w provides similar functionality to that of quickpwn. Few hours back the iPhone Dev Team has released PwnageTool 3.0 supporting the recently released 3.0 OS for the iPhone and iPod Touch by Apple in WWDC 2009 event to jailbreak iPhone 3.0.

Using redsn0w is simple. Just upgrade the device in iTunes to firmware version 3.0 and run redsn0w to activate and jailbreak the device Redsn0w also unlocks the original iPhone 2G.
