Download Blackra1n to Jailbreak iPhone & iPod Touch with iPhone OS 3.1.2

Blackra1n has been released and is available for download. blackra1n is a 30 second ALL device iPhone OS 3.1.2 jailbreak (both for iPhone & iPod Touch) developed by purplera1n developer Geohot. GeoHot has found an exploit to jailbreak all iPhones and iPod touches running iPhone OS 3.1.2.  With Blackra1n you can also jailbreak iPod Touch 3 (ipt3), but the ipt3 is tethered. In order to boot it, just rerun blackra1n. As reported earlier, Blackra1n was expected to be released two days back but got delayed writing a ramdisk side kernel patcher.

Geohot has also warned the iPhone and iPod Touch users with unlocked iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, not to upgrade to iPhone OS 3.1.2 using iTunes, in order to preserve unlock as the baseband cannot be downgraded.

Note - blackra1n doesn’t hacktivate.
