There are different software tools available to capture video from webcam, record computer screen or capture any input screen. In past we have shared many free screen recording softwares but Debut is somewhat different. Debut, which is an advanced video capturing application for Windows Computers, lets you record from your webcam, screen, video input device or anything you can see on your monitor can be recorded. You can also record the video in a format which is compatible to iPod, PSP, iPhone, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3. Apart from capturing video, the tool allows you to add text captions, record games and take photo snapshots.
Debut lets you to add watermark on your live video output with various customization options available. Click Apply watermark on videos if you would like to apply watermark (both Text and Logo) on the downloaded videos. Refer the screenshot below.
- Transparency Level - Range from 0 – No transparency to 255 – completely see through.
- Horizontal Alignment - Allows the watermark to appear at the left, right or in the center of the video.
- Vertical Alignment - Allows the watermark to appear at the top, bottom or in the center of the video.
- Watermark margin percentage - Specify how large the margin for watermark is in term of percentage (%) (Compared to the video screen size).
Debut lets you start capture video at a set date and time. To add a new task, click the ‘Add’ button. The ‘Scheduled Recording’ window will then appear. Here you will need to give your task a name (eg: Podcasting) and set the Date and Time parameters. You can set Debut to download on a set date, or every day at a particular time. You will also need to select capture device you would like to capture from. When the task is set to active, Debut will automatically start capture at the set date and time.
