Sometime when you are connected to your internet, the performance suddenly becomes very slow.It may be due to the reason that someone may be accessing you computer.YOu can run couple of command in following steps to find it out-

- Click Start > Run
- Type “netstat -b 5 > activity.txt” and then press Enter.
- Wait for 2-5 minutes.Be patient you wont be able to see any activity.
- After waiting for couple of minutes.Press CTRL+C simultaneously.
- Now finally, type “activity.txt” on command line to open the log file in notepad.
You may see the screenshot from my laptop above. It shows that only one user magupta is connected via internet.Activity log file shows which process are connected to which website in that time frame.Walkthrough the activity.txt file and look for any process names or website addresses that you are not aware. If you find one , just go to the task manager to find the location of the executable on your PC and eliminate it.
Have safe browsing!!!!!
