Many times we download a file either from internet or transfer the files via Pen drive or USB drive. If you discover a suspicious file on your PC, or suspect that a program you downloaded from the Internet might contain malicious code, you can check the files online. Just select and upload the files and scan it for free.

1) Kaspersky File Scanner

Using Kaspersky® Anti-Virus technology, any file you send to Kaspersky Lab will be checked for viruses, Trojans, spyware or other malicious code.

Just select the file you want it to scan for virus or find the file using ‘Browse’. Then click on ’Submit’. One selected it will be uploaded to a dedicated server, where it will be scanned using Kaspersky Anti-Virus. The virus definitions are updated every three hours that ensure that even the very newest viruses can be detected.

You can upload only one file of up to 1 MB at a time. If you wish to check for multiple files you need not check one by one. Just create an archive file (in zip, arj or similar format) and check that the file size do not exceed over 1 MB and check that.
